[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photograph is taken in the Yatsu tidal flat in Narashino-shi, Chiba. It was sunbathing by the wigeon of a male and a female sitting down in the marshy place of the tidal flat. The top of the head of an adult male bird is cream, and a breast is light brown. The bodily upper surface has fine black spots densely in gray. The female is brown to the whole. The sex of the bodily undersurface is white. It breeds in frozen latitudes of the northern part of the Eurasian Continent and Iceland, and in winter it passes the winter over Europe, northern Africa, northern India, southern China, the Korean Peninsula, etc. At the time of hibernation, it inhabite at a lake, a river, a mouth of a river, the seashore, etc. In a breeding season, it inhabits the swamp in the tundra area or a needle-leaf forest, etc. Feeding habits are vegetable foods such as a vegetable leaf, the stalk, the root, the seed, etc. floating on the water surface. A breeding form is an oviparity. It builds a nest to the grassy place of the waterside, etc., and produces the egg of seven to eleven by one bellies. Incubation days are 23 to 25 days.

Again very well spent elongated format of the work, displaying the Japanese distribution of objects in space, where the asymmetry is used in an extremely aesthetic. Thanks for sharing your creation, Mikio.
