|It breeds in northern Siberia in a summer, and goes south and passes the winter to the northern People's Republic of China in winter. In Japan, a small number comes flying in winter for hibernation. In full length 24 cm, it is full wing length 39 cm. The color of a beak is black and the lower beak base is yellow. The color of a hind foot is the brown which pink cut. The colors of tail feathers are brown and dark brown, the color of wings is dark brown, and feather edge is reddish brown. It inhabits in the forest from the flat ground to mountain land, a prairie, farmland, etc. Feeding habits are omnivorous and eat an insect, fruits, etc.|
