The length of this kind of dragonfly is 57-67mm, about 35-44mm in the underwing length, and it is a little large-scale as the dragonfly.

It is not very different though some females are larger than the male. The female is a burnt umber while it is a feature that is black, and there is no pattern but there is the male by the body coloration and is a green metallic sheen blacking it overall.

Quickly it doesn't fly, the hovering is not done like other dragonflies, and it flaps to flutter like the butterfly.

And, this dragonfly likes loose flow that the hydrophyte in the plain and the foothill grows.

nice shot! you´ve done a great work with this dragonfly and great info.
It´s a good idea to present it with that grass leave, it helps with the size.
