[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It is about 12cm in the total length smaller than the sparrow. It has a back that green drove and puce wing, and the female and the male are this colors. A white circle around eyes is a feature, and the origin of the name is fraught.

It is a resident or a wandering bird distributed from east Asia (Japan, China, Korean peninsula, Taiwan, and Kainan island) to Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, and Philippines). It likes honey and fruit juice of the flower though the food habit is eating everything, and the insect etc. also fruits. It is a small bird in the wild bird seen in Japan that enters the smallest class.

This photograph is capturing of the moment that has come to eat the persimmon.

Hallo Mikio
We have a similar bird here, but I am not sure if it is the same species. They are just as pretty as the one you shared today. I tried to capture some images of them but they are ever so busy and cannot sit still for one second. Therefore I must applaud you for being able to photograph one as I know how difficult it can be. They are real busy bodies. I like the way you captured this one with its one foot in the air, showing its matchstick paws. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

I like the graphism in this shot against the beautiful blue sky friend Mikio. The perch and the eye looking at your glass is just amazing. Nice balanced framing and thanks for sharing.
