What an amazing little bug! I have never seen anything like that before. The colors and patterns on it are beautiful. I wish you had cropped it closer and made it bigger, so we can really see the details. I hope someone can tell us the name of this insect.

I can't help you with the name of this bug as I've never been to Laos. But I must say it is a very beautiful bug, especially the long red snout.
