Streaked Wren Babbler

Size: 15 cm
Location: Bukit Tinggi (Pahang)

A small build brown wren babbler. Deep color flack scales run from the upper back to the nape and crown. Lower part of the body brown but the small longirudinal striation, the throat has the black white longirudinal striation. Big covert and three level of feathers end obvious trifle tiny white spot. It wing has a white spot and the tail are short. Iris - brown; beak - brown; Foot light pink color.

A changeable sharp severe whistling tone like pew-ii or pewii-uu, stress in second. When sending out warning alarm out with a harsh chirp grasps the vocal cord gentle squawk

It roosts under the evergreen forest vegetation, especially happy limestone area. It runs rapidly resembles the posture of a mouse.

Hi Ang,
I like it. You have good focus, light and the worm in the mouth is good timing. Maybe to much tree on the left side, it really takes over the picture, but its all goood.
