This dragonfly was at the butterfly conservatory in the Cameron Highlands, Malaysia mainland.

That a incredible capture Michel! Looks like made out of this world ! The classical use of f/8 seems that create the best possible dept of field to keep the more interesting parts of the insect in focus and in the other hand to destroy completely the background ! I think that is a Fantastic image !I would crop however a bit from the top of the image, it looks to heavy on the bottom in its current form !

It is a great capture with good timing as this is a difficult customer when it comes to phtographing.Pinsharp image and spot on exposure showing nice tonal colouration and unique interesting designs on the dragonfly, well done.
