[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the first wildflowering orchid that I found outside Europe!
The latin name suggest that the leaves look like grassleaves. And they do!
The orchid is also called "Bamboo orchid" and that's because it can grow up to 2 meters (6 feet ??)
And when the plant is not flowering it resembles bamboo

Hi Roel,
beautiful orchid, we have some "bamboo orchid" too. But not really the same, you can see it in my gallery.
One petal is over exposed and the sharpness isn't optimal.

Hi Roel,
this shot is indeed very beautiful and the details are well seen. this wild orchid could also be seen along the Grik-Kota Bharu hiway.
It grows tall, the the flower is very pretty.
thanks for the sharing . i seen them along the hiway but cant stop to shoot it.
