An unusually thin and large unidentified robberfly seen resting on a stem. Robberflies are true flies (order Diptera) belonging to the family Asilidae and are fierce predators of other small insects like flies, bees, wasps, moths and butterflies, grasshoppers and even some spiders.

Hello again Joe!
Again a very interesting capture, this time a small and beautiful Asilidae fly. I like pose of this insect and colours of photo. Also depth of field and details and very good as for me.
I can not give you species name, but I think that this is a member of Leptogastrinae subfamily.
