I travelled to the east coast of Malaysia. Upon reaching the other side, I have to get over the highest mountain range in the back bone of the peninsular. These are the tropical rainforest area where you couls have all sorts of flora and fauna if you get on off trails, which I havent do yet. The existence of the animals are for sure as the elephants are seen especially at night sleeping by the roadside, and I have seen them eating leaves along the highway in the daytime. I even shot the elephant dung fungi recently.
When you reach its highest peak, this is what you could see. The clouds down under and the vastnewss of the rainforest. There a lot of elephant/ giant ferns nearby. It is quite tall as tall as 4 metres.
Thre greens are lovely indeed. Wild orchids also could be seen along the highway as the vegetations change according to the height of the land from the sea level.

Hi Foozi,

Awesome landscape. You must had a great visit to this place! These mountains are beautiful and you have captured it nicely. The panaromic view adds to the beauty of it.

It sounds like you had a great trip over to the east coast.
This is a good shot of the forest from the top of the range.
I wish I could see inside that forest :)

Hi Foozi!

You surprise me in a very pleasant way with a totally different kind of picture. This landscape is superb, and I particularly like the grey tones of the sky and the mystic atmosphere created by the clouds.

Kind regards

Markus
