[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is an opened fungi that is so cliche, alway depicted in children's stories with a toad on it or a gnome.
Though it might be seen as stereotype one, it is not easy to be seen in my place. There is no possibility at all of having with red species or having big polka dots on its hat.
This is my first time discovering and shooting it, near a grassy field. It grows in a cluster of a few but I show the lonely one first.
Previously I have shown an unopened one. As usual the Fungi Master Mr. Laszlo Kaposvari of Hungary, is keen about its development and requested me for an opened one.
So Mr. Laszlo here it is for you to look at it, and maybe give its ID perhaps.
It is quite big, about 5 inches tall and the hat is as big as a saucer approximately 4 inches diameter.

Hi Foozi,

Great macro capture of the another Fungi from your Fungi-series pictures! The colors are well shown with great sharpness and from a nice POV. The shallow DOF works well here.
Indeed, a great gift for our friend, Laszlo!

Well done!

thanks and best regards,

Hi Foozi,

Excellent image. Nice surprise and made this macro.
My congratulations!
Many regards from Germany,

Hi Foozi. Excellent depht in stunning details. Very good contrast too. Indeed a ggod work.

Hello Foozi, wonderful close up of mushroom with nice lghting and composition.
TFS and regards,

Hi Foozi,

Yes, I got the point here. First of all thank You very much again for Your nice dedication. Secondly: of course such a specimen is OK for macroscopic ID specification (unlike on the otherwise good other photo of You, where the fruitbody was too young). This is a Macrolepiota, Chlorophyllum or maybe a Leucoagaricus specie, impossible to fully identify without microscope, but as a photo it's excellent. I add it to my "Lepiotoidas" theme.

Great composition, sharpness and light management. There's some background noise here and there, but the color contrast between the fungus and the green grass is awesome. Again a photo to be proud of. Congrats and tfs.

Best regards, László

PS: Your photo isn't a cliché at all by my opinion.

salam aleykum Foozi,
I pleasurely your fungi shots. all of them very beautiful. this is too.
In my hometown, in Black Sea, a similar shaped big and edible mushroom is found in hazelnut gardens as like many fungi species. It is very similar to yours. you nicely captured it against green of grasses and with great sharp details. POV and composition also great. thanks for sharing and thanks for wishes on ramadan.
it is finishing slow and slow. Inshallah Allah will accept our fast (sawm) and other wishes. maa selamah ya akhi

TFS and cheers,

Hello Foozi
wonderful fungi Shot, it looks like anombrella,
I like the great details, the intensiv green colors of the grassy BG and the nice composition
Have a good night

Hi Foozi,

The grassy field is framing well the fungi. The close-up is showing the deatils and colors of the cliche fungi. The Intensity of light has a good effect on the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.
