Snowy-Browed Flycatcher
(Ficedula hyperythra) 棕胸蓝鹟
Size: 12 cm
Location: Genting Highlands (Pahang/Malaysia)
Description:
Round head, ash blue above, deep orange throat and chest, white lower belly, white stripe above the front of the eye, black bill, grey pink legs. Females are brown, yellow brown face, with a buff eye stripe.
Voice:
Habits:
Moist lowland forests and montanes.The diet includes insects, spiders, earthworms, and berries.Both sexes build a cup or oval shape nest with a side entrance, of moss, plant fibre and feathers, which is placed in a hole of a tree trunk. 2-4 eggs are laid and both sexes incubate the eggs and feed the young.
