Blue Clipper is a beautiful butterfly and i found it difficult to take a decent shot because it was too quick and looked unwilling to settle on leaves/flowers most of the time.
The Clipper (Parthenos sylvia) is a species of nymphalid butterfly found in South and South-East Asia, mostly in forested areas. The Clipper is a fast flying butterfly and has a habit of flying with its wings flapping stiffly between the horizontal position and a few degrees below the horizontal. It may glide between spurts of flapping (Wikipedia).

The yellow color in BG is a result of dried leaves and a plastic pipe on ground. I have done a little cleaning (smoothing) from the background to smooth a little grainy appearance. I was able to get a good focus on my subject so details are acceptable to me. Resizing has done a little damage but it is acceptable too. Regarding cropping, yes its a bit tighter again as i wanted to get maximum details on this butterfly. Thanks for viewing; Hope you will like my post. I want to wish a happy Eid to the Muslims all over the world and wish peace and prosperity to everyone. May our world be a safer and peaceful place.
Best Regards,

Very nice shot Akbar. I like how you have focus on the leaf and the butterfly. Two levels of focus that work well together. Well done! TFS Trevor P.S.-Beautiful butterfly by the way.

Hello Akbar,
Splendid macro of this butterfly in high quality. Sharpness and details are fantastic and a very good diagonal composition.

Hi Akbar,

Your image is simply fantastic, both composion- and technical-wise. Pleasant to the viewer, I should say after a tiring workday exactly this is what my doctor ordered. :-) I love the close-up, that the butterfly fills more than 50% of the space, yet it's off-centered enough and forming a double semi-diagonal line which crosses each other (Line 1.: body, from the bottom left to the top right; line 2.: wings, from the top left to the bottom right). Absolutely masterful! Bravo!

You mentioned "re-sizing has done a little damage". To avoid it, use the free demo of Neat Image ( www.neatimage.com ). Excellent software for noise reduction and selective sharpening, may be used as a module for Photoshop also, and the demo itself is very useful for smoothing and sharpening TN-sized images.

Best wishes, László
