Himalayan Ibex

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
this was takenin Sagarmatha National park in Nepal, while i was trekking to the base of Everest. There were several of them andthis lonely male was cutious about my movements and I found the Background of Snow mountain gives more meaning to the species , shows where it lives. This kind of Landscape in a picture gives more info on the species and its habitat.
It was late in the evening on a cloudy day. Auto expo, at f-8. hand held. |

Not crisp sharp, but very good composition and colors. The expression of the ibex is great. Also nice to see ibexs. Not so many of them on TN. TFS
Too bad this isn't digital, what a spectacular photo, I wish I could see the print. It looks straight out of National Geographic. Well done!

Wow ! What a wonderful and interesting Ibex that you have very well captured !
Hymalayan Ibex have bigger fur than Capra Ibex of my French Alps.
Composition is good with a beautitful background. Sharpness is a bit soft...
Congratulations Satish and thanks for sharing.
Satish,
This is one BEAUTIFUL looking healthy beast. I've trekked this area many times.
This is a MAGNIFICIENT find. Great capture. Love your notes too. Not very sharp. (Minor issue.)
Would you mind if I did a small workshop on it? Its,
after all, YOUR CREATION. 563 views. Only 10 ... 11
comments. Its a GREAT image. Best regards, Mario.
Hello Satish,
I am no expert on the Ibex, Himalayan or otherwise,
but are you sure this is one? Are their horns not longer?

Technically speaking: I would crop off most of the white and light top.
I had to do the same on this one.
