[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The pass is called Laurebina La (4600m) and it connects Langtang mountains in Northern Nepal with Helambu hills leading eventually to Kathmandu (in 4 days walk).

Right under the pass is Gosainkund and 50-some other sacred lakes were made by Shiva in the process of creation. Thousands of Hindu pilgrims gather here in August for Janai Purnima Mela festival.

In December 1992 Australian trekker James Scott got lost crossing Laurebina pass in a snow storm and was found alive (!) after 45 days.
