Great shot... The layers of mountain in the BG plus the strong backlight gives this photo a nice 3D effect. I like how the flow of the river leads the eye into the shot all allong the rocky bank unto the folliage on the mount in the back and on the opposite bank.

The colours look natural, good details captured and the exposure was well managed.

Hello Geof,
Modi Khola seems to have shrunk during winter season. I have seen it as a powerful torrent during summers twice.
The light bouncing off the surface of water is a little disturbing; however, looks like you took the shot at the time of the day when it is bound to happen from a certain perspective.
The shot creates the ambience of interior Nepal rather well.
