[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Striped Catfish (Plotosus lineatus)also you can call it Striped eel catfish. Juveniles of Plotosus lineatus form dense ball-shaped schools of about 100 fish, while adults are solitary or occur in smaller groups of around 20 and are known to hide under ledges during the day.

Here actually it was a very big school upto 380 individuals!

The Striped Catfish can be recognised by its striped colouration, barbels around the mouth, and its body shape which tapers to a point posteriorly. Small juveniles are black and large adults may be less distinctly striped. Very small size (5 cm average in this photo but they can grow up to 35 cm)

An invaluable contribution to TN, where submarines contributions are rare and always welcome. The photograph conveys the dynamism of this shoal feeding.

Thanks friend !!!

Hello Emin,
An awesome underwater shot filled with action, color and very some beautiful species of fish. This reminds me of the time Rosie and I went snorkeling in Hawaii.
I love to see wildlife of all kinds in their natural habitat and this is a good example of just that. Well done!!
