Rendered this photo with darker processing. I wanted to present the place as mysterious and spooky. I shot this while on top of a vehicle (4x4). My wife tells me, this photo reminds her of a gasoline (petrolium) commercial.

This is an interesting presentation. I've been many times to Death Valley and must admit I've never seen it like this! It indeed looks dark, eerie . I've frozen there at night and roasted there during the day but have never seen it dark and brooding. Fun.
