Great macro with wonderful details, colors, focus and sharpness

Hi Al,
A fine macro shot of this colourful insect. Sorry I cannot help you with the id, but i have often seen a similar one in my backyard. They come to feast on jack fruits. You have captured this insect with good sharpness, POV and DOF. Well saturated colours and contrasts.
Thanks for the share,

Excellent shot!! The amazing details captured in this image look captivating. I also love the combination of bright colours and the shallow yet perfect depth of field.

Hello,these image...just perfect. Congratulations :) Ravasz

hello Al
another excellent capture,bravo

Bellisimo macro, te felicito, lastima que no te puedo ayudar con la ID. Pura vida

Al Coroza,
This is awesome macro. Very good sharpness, DOF, details and a neat image. Well done. Regards - Adil.

Hola Al,

amazing colours and lights on this little fly.

ID is very difficult, could be some species from the family Sciomyzidae, the horn flies, but Im sorry I think that there is nothing comparable in germany.

However, great shot.

Once again, your very competent utilization of Raynox 250mm is in great evidence here, AC.
This very unique creature with fantastic eyes and other features has been beautifully captured on a green leaf.
I would be equally curious about the ID of this insect, which, in my opinion, is the first of its kind on TN.
Thanks for sharing this masterpiece.

Hi Al,
Outstanding macro shot of this tiny fly with immaculate sharpness and amazing colours. Great lighting, POV and DOF and the BG lets it stand out perfectly. Very nice composition. Kudos.

What a macro! I love the colors here and the position of the insect. The flash has rendered this body with a metallic sheen which adds to the beauty of this insect.
wonderful :-)
