|Locally known as Talusi, this Hornbill is an endemic species restricted and found only in the Palawan Faunal Region. It has been recorded in the islands of Balabac, Busuanga, Calauit, Culion, Coron, and on the Mainland.|

Scientific Name: Anthracoceros marchei
Local Name: Talusi (Palawan, Tagbanua)
Conservation Status: This species is classified by the IUCN as Vulnerable, in which its population was estimated to be reduced at least 20% for the past 10 years, and would continue for another 20% for the next 10 years based on a decline in area of occupancy, extent of occurrence, and/or habitat quality; as well as excessive levels of exploitation.
An uncommon species found in forest and forest edge staying mostly within the canopy.
The species is reported to travel in small noisy groups or in pairs, with a communal roosting site. It feeds on fruits, insects, and small reptiles.

nice captured hornbill with good detail. I am sorry to mention that stamp on the subject is not good looking it is reduce the picture quality.
