Hi James,
here we have a classic Parker Zodiac shot! Good use of this impressive iceberg to hold the foreground and lead us into the low cloud clad hills in the background. Superb notes too, i learned something interesting here, many thanks.

Hi James,
Another wonderful shot of a scene most of us will never seen. And excellent notes teaching many of us things we don't know. A beautiful and very frigid looking seascape. The details of the scalloping iceberg is shown in great detail. Wonderful dof and composition.

You have the eye and the world is your pallet....I get excited every time to see where this next post will be from.....and a cool day shot for a hit summer day here...it has an other worldly look but that is probably because of the complete reversal of weather patterns from when this was taken...like some time warp...but very only as well...has a feeling..

Hello again James, this picture I knew was yours, but I guess that was an easy guess... who else would go that far and bring such a great picture? The pink light is fantastic and it's even more fantastic on such a subject, those big icebergs. The texture comes out beautifully in this light, it's quite fantastic to look at. How impressive such a vision must be... thank you!

Hi James,
Beside that this is taken at a very impressive location, the DOF in this photo is what I really like. Just the right amount of depth to still see details in the BG while the full focus is on the ice formation in front.

Hi James!
This is a great seascape picture with a wonderful perspective given by the subtle composition. The wall of ice on the left points to the horizon and leads us into the image. I also like the tranquility that emanates from the picture.
Kind regards

Dear James,
This is a very interesting photo i.e.showing no ice floating in the water other than the icebergs!
For me personally interesting/surprising - how close your Zodiac Driver went to the Iceberg; cruising in Antarctica, our drivers kept a big distance from icebergs...
I like very much the way you controlled focus and depth of field, thus allowing the viewer to see the intricate pattern of an iceberg, which had turned.
We were fortunate to see from the Icebreaker (turned Cruise Ship) an iceberg turning, giving the tour-leader a chance to wag his finger at the Zodiac Drivers.
I do not recall ever experiencing a day without any fog/clouds during the cruise along the Antarctic Peninsula.
I do admire your control of exposure - which is rather tricky -due to the reflections plus combination of ice and water...
A beautiful scenery, beautifully presented.
Have a nice evening
Kind Regards
Ingrid

Hello, this is a very original and interesting photo of a land so far removed from civilization as we know it.
Excellent detail and sharpness. Your notes are most helpful and informative. I learned alot from reading them.
Thanks and have a great day,

Dear James, great capture of iceberg at sea level, and I add your work to my new theme "under and above the seas"
It is exciting to move amongst the icebergs, and I enjoyed it a lot in Antarctica.
As always your notes are highly interesting. Thanks James
Thanks for sharing.
Warm greetings from the Tzaneen Dam in Limpopo, South Africa
