The Black Cormorant, Phalacrocorax sulcirostris, is a member of the cormorant family of seabirds. It is common in smaller rivers and lakes throughout most areas of Australia and northern New Zealand. It is around sixty centimetres long, and is all black with blue-green eyes.
In a kind of the natural greed, it not against to regale and pike perches.

I wish I had more time............
However I cannot pass this by without saying. What a mouthfull. Great portrait with excellent detail captured, especially on the metallic coloured scales of the fish. I wonder if this bird's jaw ache at night having to open it so wide? Thanks for sharing.
