The Lamie Tisserand or Lamia textor (named by Linnée in 1758) is the only European species belonging to the Lamia kind. It is a large Coléoptère, Xylophage, of the family of the Cerambycidae, with slow displacement on the trees, sometimes faster on the ground, which goes much more than it does not fly. Its larva develops in the Deadwood certain leafy trees (deaths, or partially died in phase of senescence), by leaving there exits of broad galleries which are one of the most obvious signs of its presence. It is a species which locally seems become rare (or extinct) of many areas, and considered as threatened.

Description
Size: 15 to 32 mm
the carapace and the élytres are of a Chitine unusually hard for a very dark insect
Couleur brown drawing on the black, subdue, sometimes decorated on the élytres with clearer spots.
granulous Texture of the élytres and the pronotum (which is decorated of two side points)
Long antennas whose article are definitely visible, reinflated with their apical extremity

Great to see so nice and beautiful Cerambycidae beetle. I like profile view and very nice sharpness. I believe that light was strong, but you kept colours in very good way.
