I don't know, if it's alright to place this on TrekNature, as it's not alive insect, but I was impressed by its size and his nose. Pinned to the wall in Zoology Museum in Petersburg.

It is not Ok to present a shot of a set insect specimen on TN!
TN is for photos of living things, preferably in the wild.

'Allo Uhu my owly friend! I see again that you like to learn about Nature by also studying in Museums. I think it is a wonderful way to learn about Nature, when one does not have the opportunity to see creatures that are either not near, or are dead and long gone.

I appreciate the Note, but could we learn more about this insect? What exactly is it called? I would like to learn more. And learning is what TN is about. ;) ;) Tfs, Jay
