This King Fisher was sitting by a branch, had a few seconds to shoot him before he just simply vanished. AM not sure of the exact species here. I do expect our in-house experts to help me though :-)

Lovely picture for a "quick shot" excellent composition and POV. Nice details

Good composition and well spotted pose. Your original is very dark. It could be that your screen is not calibrated correctly. I had a similar problem. Posted a workshop where I made it lighter.


Looks like a Stork-Billed Kingfisher. Beautiful birds and a nicely composed shot. Cheers! Phil.

Hi Kiran. A fine view of a beautiful bird. His beak is so long for such a small body!. Good under rather dark lighting. The workshop is excellent. Murray.
