[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As I was wary of the unknown passerine (the search have to be made for ID) in front of my lens - it appeared a little curious of unknown behaviour of a human, who has shifted gaze from firmament to the turf.

With some foraging into the net - I think I have found out the species. Probably, a Daurian Redstart.

I leave it upto the experts for confirmation/correction

a nice one, Subhayan. yes, it is a Daurian Redstart. after returning from this recent trip, am gradually falling in love with Redstarts. i already have one White-capped Water Redstart [from Suntaleykhola] in my gallery, seen some others this time too.
your this photograph is almost flawless, except... can't be sure about its colour of chest/ belly. orange? then it's a male. grey? then female. it looks saffron here :)
but i think, it's a female. ummn... quite sure. males are brighter.

good catch-light and very good sharpness. curious, indeed :)
lovely bird.

Ruby
