[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The d70s just registered 10,000 photos taken, so it was time to revisit and sort out some files on the old PC(I keep all the photos even the blurred and bad ones). It took along time to go through half the photos but I found some shots I had dismissed as average or bad shots. At a second glance some actually looked better than I had thought and others had potential. I guess after seeing so many photos on the 3 Trek sites and other websites its getting easier to see the potential of a photo for post processing. Well I still got another about 5000 photos to revisit I guess but this little roach caught my eye and so here it is.

I read myself in notes (except Nikon) :)
Nice colors and sharpness. Also perfect DOF with dark tones.

Hello Matt,
Great capture, the details are nice and sharp and the colors look good. The nice neutral BG shows off your main subjects very well. Very well choosen POV, seeing this roach eye to eye.

Hello Matthew, this is a great shot. Lovley composition and good details. The lighting is very good too. Well done on the crop too.

Hi Mattew,
Very nice shot, good strong composition with great lighting. Excellent image quality considering the amount of glass this was shot through. Great note...I've just clocked on 12,500 images on my D200 and it's not even a year old...scary the overload of images you end up with. I find that cataloguing the image in a DMA application can aid in finding "hidden" images. Just takes a bit of effort to catalogue...but a least you can find things a little easier.

Well it is definitely worth going through the old archives in your casr this image of the cockroach turns out to be a nice capture especially with the nice soft background. Good luck on the next 5000 images. :)
