[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today I went to the Heyongsan riverside for a fotographic stroll. It's spring time here & with temperatures equivalent to that of winter in my country. The river was teeming with birdlife with herons, mallards, cormorants.

I could not find any kingfisher or any other raptor though. May be some other day.

The day was very windy & the riverside was really wild with wind gust. Big waders were finding it very difficult to proceed against it let alone maintainting course bearing en route. This fellow veered off course & came close by, within reach of my toy scope.

Hi Subhayan,
Amazing in-flight shot with expressive pose of the heron,

Hello Subhayan.
It is never easy to capture bird in flight. This is nice spreading wings with good details against the spotless sky.

Hello Subhayan

As Jusni wrote it is never easy to shoot
in photo the birds in-flight, excellent photo
of the heron in-flight with his wings wide open
and the way it is framed on the image, i see that
you where at ISO200, since i have a (new thing for me)
DSLR and because i love to do in-flight and movement
photos my ISO setting is at 1000, and at the days
of my Fujifilm bridge camera my ISO setting was at 400,
so with your Pentax DSLR you can shoot at higher ISOs
when you want to do bird in-flight photos, TFS
