The POV and composition are great. The DOF let us admire a bit of the surrounds, so soft.
The wing's details are really filigree, what an extraordinary structure and colors.

This is absolutely amazing!
This is probably the most beaututiful dragonfly i've ever seen!
What a capture, Kevin!
The details and textures here are excellent and the reflection of the light impecable. Also the POV is great adn teh DOF perfect.
The lovely colors, and the nice framing complete this fantastic composition.

Wonderful insect depicted. Image is great too; good sharpness showing the metallic colrs in the wings; the latter are like colored translucent glass. Really a 'tuned' insect...

Rhyothemis is a very decorative species; I shot some Rhyothemis variegata in India and I was excited when I saw it for the first time.
This Rhyothemis fuliginosa is actually prettier than variegata, and this is a male, as per your note.
Beautiful image from a very good perspective. All the details and colours are perfect.

I like it a lot: composition, POV, DOF, focus, sharpness, color, lighting, background, framing.

I like it: frame (something thick), notes.

I don't like it: the lack of the values of the image.

I like the light effect on the wings.

To do picture of dragonflies is not a very easy thing because they always fly off then we are ready to shot! In that sense, your picture is perfect, especially with Neurothemis species which are very prompt to move. This individual is wonderful.
