Red-wattled lapwing (Vanellus indicus lankae) is a wader of the plover family. It is living at the shores of lakes and ponds in whole South Asia from Iraq to Vietnam. This bird was captured in Udawalawe NP at the shore of Udawalawe water reservoir.
