I trust you had a good holiday and that you come to know the in-laws well. The neat and tidy feathers of this bird tells me (I might be wrong) that this is indeed a sparrow. The pose seen from the back, showing its pretty feathers and with the parshly opened beak is lovely. Great centralized composition and pleasant presentation. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Hi Erwin,
exciting shot of this little sparrow. Very sharp indeed with the eyes so shiny and the pattern of feather is well featured. i like it pose with the semi-turned.
The depth is so effective with blurry background.
