Dragon fly is a type of insect belonging to the order Odonata.It is characterised by large multifaceted eyes, two pairs of strong transparent wings and an elongated body.They lay eggs in or near water, often on floating or emergent plants.The eggs hatch in nymphs during which at this stage they eat mosquito larvae. |

Hi Erwin,
such a stunning red upon a whitish blurry background.Well seen in great sharpness and clarity.
Even the spider lines could be noticed easily.
The netlike wings are really lovely here.

Hello Erwin,
Wow! What a fantastic red dragonfly! No idea about its name? Colors looks very natural and you managed well to be at its level. The only thing maybe is that I would have moved a little bit on the left in order to not have the blurred branch behind it.
