Butterflies are mainly day flying insects in the order Lepidoptera, the butterflies and moths.Its life cycle consists of four parts,egg,larvae,pupa and adult.They have large often brightly coloured wings.Butterflies are an important economical agent for pollination.The caterpillars of some butterflies eat harmful insects. A few species are pests as they can damage domesticated crops and trees while in there larval stage. |
