[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A spiders web or cobweb is a device built by a spider out of proteinacious spider silk extruded from its spinnerets. This particular web is a simple web stretched out on the ground to catch insects. These spiders are grouped as hunters because they run after the insects that land in their webs.

Hi erwin,
very natural occurrence of this web.
I once saw them in fields, the looked white and spotted all over the place.
I was wondering where is the spider?

Hello Erwin,
Nice depiction of this particular spiders snare. The type of web you have captured reminds me a lot of the web of the Wolf Spiders that we have here in Ohio.
Nicely composed, good detail and beautiful natural colors. Well done!!
