Hello neighbour,
What a fine capture, JC!
Did you use a combination of lenses here?
Very sharp and clear image.
I like the shadow of the subject falling on the brown leaf.
TFS and regards.
Ram

Namely 'giant pill millipede' is a rain forest dweller. It would be prettier to get a dorsal image showing colors and a litle crop

Hi Jitty,
I didn't have seen this insect since a long time.
It's amazing the way it converts in an almost round sphere.
I like a lot the leaf used to take the picture, it's so good the colour and texture appreciated on it.
You placed the insect on the right place as the center of interest.
Congratulations and thanks for share.
My best regards,
JM

Wonderful composition. I like the way you arrange the bug and dry leave. Can try different species of Sphaerotheriida, i think the different in colors would give different feel.
TFS
Best regards,
Kean

Hi Jitti,

This millipede looks wonderful on the leaf. I love the way it is rolled into a ball. I've never seen anything like this. Very sharp details and the leaf shows it off very well.

Hello Jitti,
a nice image of this Pill Millipede.
You've captured this little fella with great detail! That Canon close-up lens worked really well here.
Superb off-centre composition and a good POV.
I also like the detail and texture of the browned leaf.
DOF is quite shallow but you've done well to get most of the Millipede in focus.
Well done Jitti.
Thanks,
Joe

Hi Jitti,
Wonderful shot with such pretty natural colours and sharp details. Superb lighting and exposure and I like the sideways shadow and the perfect illumination. The yellow leaf as BG looks so beautiful. Excellent POV and composition. Kudos.
TFS.

Hello Jitti,

Good composition. Excellent light. Great sharpness. Very nice colours. Very good contrast of the smooth carapace of the millipede against the rugosity of the leaf.
Cheers,
Mariki
