I don't know which spider it is, but the colours were really astonishing.

Hi Pierre

Not only the colours are astonishing, but so are the details. This is very sharp and show the features very well. Those bands around the abdomen is really special. The range of the DOF was quite sufficient as it is only the tip of the legs that's slightly OOF (and that does not bother much) and the exposure was well managed.

Sorry, no help with the ID unfortunately.

Great work and TFS.

Hola Pierre.
Fantástica captura.
Buenos detalles y bg.
Saludos, JL.

Hello Pierre,
your picture shows the spider
- Argiope versicolor
- family: Araneidae

Best wishes, Peter

Wonderful Spider! At first I did'nt even think it was real. Thanks for sharing. Cheers Josh Lewis.

Hi Pierre,
This is a great macro shot!
I like a lot the good details got on the insect, the patterns and bright colours are so appealing and very eye catching.
The indigo hues seen at the background increases even more the visual impact.
Congratulations and thanks for share.
My best regards,

Hallo Pierre
A great macro of this spider including the delicate web structure. I agree with you that this is indeed a very colourful spider with lots of different patterns to appreciate and the details are really impressive. Very interesting to look at. In comparison to my jumping spider I posted not so long ago is one is enormous and looks quite vicious, with that real long paws and spikes. Thanks for sharing much appreciated.
Kind regards
