Now I dont know if this is technically "Nature" however I took this picture in Chiang Mai Thailand at the Tiger Kingdom, where for a few Baht I was allowed to enter a pen with 3 sister tigers, allowing me to get close up shots without the interference of bars...now there are still tigers in the wild in Thailand...but I am sure not many...even though this one was not taken in the wild I still feel it is a very good image and wanted to share it on here. |

Technically awesome portrait wit good detail and dept of field, Simon! Extra sharpness in my opinion can help improve the impact! Will be nice to see you a bit more involved with some comments and discussions here in TN, my friend!

Simon,
That's really LOVELY, indeed!!!
Beautifully framed too.
Striking "EYE CONTACT".
10 out of 10.
Mario with friendly greetings from Canada.
Hi Simon,
Yup, its nature. The TOS allows for this kind of photo especially if you mention it and show as less human made object as possible. The latter is certainly not the case here :)
Love the frame filling capture and the intens look in his eyes. Getting this close to your object could cause some problems with the sharpness, but yours is prefect and shows a lot of details.

NIek

Hi Simon,
You've really captured a brilliant image here. It would be quite difficult to get this close to a tiger in the wild, not sure I'd want to get this close to a tiger in a zoo either.
Do you have anymore Thailand shots to share with us?
Best,
Nat
