White-Tailed Robin
(Copsychus malabaricus) 白尾蓝鸲
Size: 18 cm
Location: Mae Wong National Park (Thailand)
Description:
Blue black. Cobalt blue forehead and shoulder patch. White patches in tail. Black bill and iris. Female: brown; thin white throat band.
Habits:
Dense undergrowth of moist evergreen broadleaf montain rainforest in middle-high elevations; near running water.
Distribution:
Asia: China, Tibet, Nepal, India, Bhutan. Southeast Asia: Indochina, Myanmar, Malaysia, Malay Peninsula |
