Small Niltava
(Niltava macgrigoriae) 小仙鹟
Size: 14 cm
Location: Mae Wong National Park (Thailand)

Both sexes almost the same as Large Niltava except the male has a grayish belly and they are small size than Large Niltava.

A thin, high-pitched twee-twee-ee-twee.

Restricted to montane forest between 900 2500m elevation. Generally moves lower inside denser vegetation, more skulking in habit than Large Niltava. During the winter months sometimes shifts to lower elevations.

Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam.
