May call this photo "Yellow on Yellow"
The flower is easy to identify as it has distictive form and widespread. The butterfly is difficult to say whether it is Eurema Andersonii (one-spot grass yellow), Eurema Hecabe (common grass yellow), or Eurema Blanda (three-spot grass yellow). Hope that my friends here could help to identify. Anyway, leave the name aside, hope you like the photo.

The Butterfly
The Pieridae are a large family of butterflies. They are characterised by mainly white or yellow coloration, often with black spots. The sexes usually differ, often in the pattern or number of the black markings.

This tree is popularly known in Brazil as chanana. Chanana tea is used in Brazilian folk medicine for the treatment of diseases related mainly to gastric dysfunction including gastric and duodenal ulcers.

Hey Jitty! I found a yellow butterfly like yours last saturday! I have some nice pictures I´ll post soon! But it´s not yellow on yellow...
This is a wonderful creature on a wonderful flower! The colours are very nice, and so is the contrast to the unfocused BG. Nice note, where I´ll research to my post! TFS!

Love how the butterfly and flower seem to blend together. Good job. Also, nice detail on the leaf to the left of the flower.

Hallo Jitty,

This is an excellent photo of a nice butterfly! It almost seems it is part of the yellow flower! I like your composition and POV! The colors are great and the BG really makes the butterfly stand out! The contrast is also very good! Great note too! A very good job and a complete post! TFS!
