Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica erupts every few minutes. Quite the sight if you haven't been there. I used a 2 min exposure for this shot.

You get the award for most original shot on TN for last several months:) The lava looks great against the black volcano. I think I would have included more of the foreground plant to add perspective or cloned it out altogether. I do notice some graininess, but it's a night shot of volcano...How cool is that!!!
