Blue Jeans and/or Strawberry Poison Dart Frog (Dendrobates/Oophaga pumilio)

I discovered many of these beautiful forest carpet jewels in one location, hopping all over the place which gave me plenty of opportunity to get some really nice images.

Hello Paul,
Nice to see your new posting. And a fantastic one. The colours are breath taking and the details in this macro are very impressive. Splendid choice of composition. What a beauty!

Hi dwlf. This is perfect in so many ways. It has solid colours throughout You chose a great DOF. It's framed perfectly and it's in perfect focus with great red and orange colours. Love it. TFS Trevor

Quite an impressive macro capture of this small colourful Frog.
The colour of the plant matches with the subject and thereby suggests the possibility of camouflage.

What an awesome sharp capture. A very colorful tight frame. Lovely. Are these red frogs poisonous?I have heard colorful frogs are always poisonous.
