Bare-throated Tiger Heron
 |

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Caribbean Wetlands of Costa Rica :
This Heron might visit you in your Lodge bungalow to look for Cockroaches. It's the Bare-throated Tiger Heron (>I>Tigrisoma mexicanum; Garza Tigre Mexicana; Tigerreiher. Ardeidae). But this one is sitting on a Pachira tree near the Laguna Penitencia in Tortuguero (You just wonder about the name of the canal, to us tourists it was heaven). |

The branches did come in the way, but you kept the eye of the bird within them in the frame, Dietrich.
This Heron is a marvellous looking species with those patterns on its plumage.

Hi Dietrich, difficult location but perfect light, the excellent DOF give us the best details of this lovely bird, well done. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano
Hello 👋 Dietrich,
Nice to see this Tiger Heron. Everything looks nice except those branches in front of its face;disturbing 😔. Perfect focus on its eye 👌. With due respect I have tried to remove those branches in WS ☺
Thanks for sharing your work with us 😊
Regards and have a nice weekend 🙂
