[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a great green macaw (also called Buffon's macaw),
Ara ambiguus. Its distribution includes Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama for the most part. It likes to eat almonds, and plans are afoot to preserve the almond trees in Cerro El Jardin Forest Reserve, Costa Rica, in order that this magnificent bird stay with us.

Hi Michael.
What a great scenery and nice bird you have pictured. Excellent vertical cropping and composition, large DOF and sharpness of whole image. Only it seems to me sunlight is strong a bit. Well done and best regards.
