|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This is a scarlet macaw (Ara macao), the national bird of Honduras. It inhabits a vast range extending from Mexico to Brazil, although it is becoming increasingly rare in the wild, due to habitat (humid forests) destruction and its capture for sale on the pet market, where it fetches prices in the area of US$1000.|

Great colour in your scarlet macaw, I could just imagine the colours in a tree full of these fellas, sad to hear they are becoming rare in the wild. Unfortunatly the focus has gone to the trees behind him leaving him soft in focus or he has moved. It would have been great to have seen him in sharp focus to pick up the colour and detail in his feathers.

I like your perfect composed and nicely coloured shot of this beautiful bird as well as the details of whole image. May be the sky is not so attractive but this but it was possible to correct by photo editor. My best wishes and TFS.
você capturou uma imagem na minha opinião de uma das mais belas aves do Mundo. Esta arara apresenta cores muito vivas em suas penas, as tornando muito exótica.
Parabéns pela imagem.
