Again, a beautifully executed macro capture of an acridid (?) grasshopper in its prime Laurens, a fine flash capture leaving the BG pleasantly dark. Some of the reflections could be prevented if you have the means of using the flash in an off-camera position. TFS this lovely image my friend.

A lovely close to the eye image with lots of colours and prominent details to appreciate. The image as a whole is sharply focused, neatly framed and pleasantly presented. The light is pleasant and highlight the finer features of the hopper well.

Hi Laurens. This is another first class close up of the Grasshopper. The detail and colours are spot on. The body has a shine to it which stands out so well from the black BG. well done tFS.

This was a wonderful grasshopper series. Each picture had the quality of a textbook illustration. This one is superb with excellent colors and amazing details. I love the pose at the end of the leaf. Wonderful background and composition.
