[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Blue Tang or Blue Surgeonfish (Acanthurus coeruleus) captured in shallow water. It's one of my first underwater photographs because I recently bought a cheap water-proof camera for holidays at Cuba. Although the quality of the pictures is not as usually I was satisfied by the results. I was impressed how many different species of fish you can see in depth of less than 1 meter.
One interesting fact of Blue Tang is that the colours of juvenile is yellow and changes to blue when becoming adult. |

Thank you, Roland, for this invaluable contribution of marine life. Always
especially appreciate these photographs so complex that for many reasons
I understand capture underwater species. A big hug.

Hello Roland,
As you already stated the overall quality is not what you normally post, but considering this is a compact camera it looks pretty nice to me. Your fish reminds me of(Dora)in the kids movie(Finding Nemo). I have ten young grandchildren, so you know what movies I get to watch over and over....:)
The light blue color is very pretty, I especially like the dark blue outline on the dorsal fine, tail, and lower fins. Very nice! TFS.
