Cuban Emerald - female on Bromelia flower
The Cuban Emerald (Chlorostilbon ricordii) is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family. It is found in Bahamas, Cuba, Turks and Caicos Islands, and United States. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, and heavily degraded former forest.
