[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I have been trying for so long to get a good hummingbird photo and finally had the patience and good luck to capture this purple throated carib last year.
It was taken in the village of Trafalgar in my friends garden.
There are four species of hummingbird in Dominica.
I still have not successfully managed a good shot of a hummingbird in flight so any tips would be appreciated.

This is a very good capture of this little hummingbird. The purple throated is beautifully perched and you have framed it well with excellent lenswork. Beautiful details and well defined plumage against buttery smooth background.
