[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I photographed this American Snout butterfly while on my trip to Nicaragua last summer. I had hoped to capture it in an open winged pose, but had no luck at all.

I took this shot in my daughters back yard as the butterfly was perched on her lemon tree. It was very sunny as you can tell and the snout seemed to like soaking up the warm sun rays.
